in the Penn Library's Selected Web Sites by Subject
Criteria for Inclusion
To be included in the Penn Library's Selected Web Sites a remote
resource must serve the academic and research interests of the University and
fall within the guidelines established in the Library's collection development
policies. Suggestions to add sites should be addressed to the appropriate
bibliographer.
Duplication will be avoided. If a remote site is well regarded as a source
for information on a particular subject, we will point to that site.
History and Organization
The Penn Library introduced the Selected Web Sites section of
its web in March of 1995.
Based initially upon the content of the Library's long retired Gopher,
the Internet Resources section has grown in size and scope
as new resources are added regularly.
