Summary: With woodcut t.-p. borders (McKerrow and Ferguson 147) and numerous woodcuts in the text. The coat of arms of Lord Burleigh is on verso of title pages. In v.2 is a folded plan of Edinburgh, one half in facsimile by John Harris. Many errors in paging. Black letter: double columns. Imperfect: wants onlt the blank leaf *B*6 before "The historie of Scotlande." The 2 leaves of errata for the "first part of the English historie" and the leaf for the "Hystorie of Scotlande" are all bound in at the end of vol. 1; printed 1577.
