These Web pages provide access to population, social, economic, and housing data from the 1990 Census of Population and Housing for Philadelphia neighborhoods.

There exists no official list of Philadelphia neighborhoods. These neighborhoods, organized by regions approximating Planning Analysis Sections (defined by the Philadelphia City Planning Commission), and their names and boundaries, are conflated from resources listed in the Philadelphia neighborhoods bibliography linked below.

Users of these Web pages should always bear in mind the words of one Philadelphia city planner: "I know where I live, and you know where you live. Isn't that enough?"
